I am not sure about Tex, but Coulter is officially on record saying that McCain is more liberal than Clinton. She was on TV the other day trying to make that case with a straight face. We had a good laugh at the Lebowski home.

McCain has my conditional support. All he has to do is not select Mike Huckabee as the VP nominee and I'm on board.
