It's a cold and rainy day here and I checked out A Christmas Story from the library. I saw this movie for the first time when I was 7 or 8 and loved it. I haven't seen in probably 10 years and would like to watch it after school with my 7-year-old son. The problem--unlike me at 7--my son has not yet learned the F-dash-dash-dash word and I am not ready for him to know it yet.

What do you think? Should I watch it anyway and hope he doesn't ask what Ralphie says instead of fudge? Lie and tell him the F-dash-dash-dash word is fart? Ideas?
