pineapple
Fresh pineapple: amazingly delicious
frozen pineapple: delicious canned pineapple: disgusting and should only be used for an occasional upside down cake. I'd never tried frozen pineapple until recently and was very pleasantly surprised.

best pineapple: one you have grown yourself, pluck directly, and eat immediately.

I've never known such joys but imagine that you're right.

Any opinions on dried? Freeze-dried?
I love fresh pineapple, but I can only eat a couple of pieces before my teeth start to hurt. I think it's the citric acid. |

I have a very strange relationship with pineapple. Danimal is right, except I don't know about frozen pineapple and I'd never put a cooked pineapple anything to my lips. In fact, I absolutely love fresh pineapple beyond anyone I ever met. Almost every day I'll eat a pint of it cut into chunks they sell at the market downtown. It keeps me away from chocolate, pastries, all the deadly stuff. But I can't eat pineapple any other way. I hate it canned, in cooked foods, etc. Pizza? YUCK!!!!!!!
