Once again one of BYU's top choices rebuffs BYU's overtures.
BYU may be relegated to hiring assistants from bigger programs. Sigh.

And I said that Coach KN couldn't be left dangling. If that's what happened.
It's pretty said when the BYU job could be considered a step down from the Navy job. |

I guess it's true after all. Holmoe did take Coach KN to Los Hermanos for dinner, and insulted him by trying to convince him it was good Mexican.

He considered us when he wouldn't consider more storied programs. That's flattering enough.

I don't know that we know of any storied programs that have tried to hire him. He said he had a few opportunities in the past that he passed on.

It seems BYU's zenith is past. We are a stepping stone or a dumpster for coaches.
