Last remaining BYU team
The women who play UConn the perennial power house and undefeated number one team. It appears those who watch such a thing are hoping for a final involving UConn and Notre Dame. BYU probably doesn't have the horses to compete with UConn; few do.
Nice run for the ladies.

well that's pretty darn cool. Finally a BYU team that has exceeded expectations. Been years (decades?) since that has happened.

Coach Judkins took them that far in 2002. Every once in a while the girls team has the spark.

Is the Conn game going to be on TV? |

BYU also has a player by the name of Xojian Harry. I wonder if it pronounced according to its Chinese diction or according to some other manner. Here's an article. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/8...-Saturday.html BYU is playing the best team in the country and this team is from the best program in women's ball. Quite a tall order.

I would like for them to play competitively but that may be unfair and unreasoanble. Judkins is a good coach but the talent level is so disparate. Let's hope for some type of miracle, but I am pleased with their performance. Failing an unforeseen miracle, I will root for UConn to waltz to the repeat championship.

NYT must be the only website that puts periods in their acronym for B.Y.U.
They always gotta be different. |
