I think it's rather silly
...the way legislature requires sex offenders to be registered, and allows the public to know when one moves into their neighborhood. I think a much wiser method would be to wait for the offender to cause damages, and then to go after him. In the meantime, I bet he would do neat things like plant a garden, entertain others with a ukelele, take pretty photos, and invite others over to drink Kool-Aid.
That way, less policing would be needed, and the community would be an enjoyable, light-hearted way of life. Nobody needs to know anything. Heck, why not show him photos of our kids' birthdays while we're at it? Plus, maybe he's enemies with the jerk in the next town over, and what a great way to show the jerk what we really think! Ha! |

On the other hand, I don't think it's rational to have a camp of sex offenders living under a freeway because there is no legal place for them to live. As has occurred in Florida.
