Morning Radio in Utah...
When I moved back to Utah last year, I listened to an old standby that I listened to many years back--Chunga and now Mister. Decent show and I listened for a bit until I found the Radio from Hell show on X96. Seriously, this is the best morning show on the radio in Utah. The three of them are funny, fresh and not just trying to do outrageous things on the radio which are so tiring when DJs try and do that.
If you are looking for entertaining radio (often with a non-conservative slant), you should take a listen from 6-10. But, be warned, they play about 3 songs during those 4 hours. It is all talk (personal lives stories, politics, making fun of other DJs, entertainment, current events, etc.). |

I like Chunga and Mister (even tho I dont like the music they play on 101.9), but there are too many frackin commercials.
Chunga is hilarious. His Ozzy Osbourne impression is the best. |

The radio from Hell show has been around for many, many years - all the way back to the mid-80s. I'm not so sure it's very fresh as it is recycled material from their beginning.
Chunga and Mister are ok - Chunga got his start on the radio from Hell show in the early 90s - but that station, like just about all stations - has become too commercial for me. I rarely listen to anything but sports radio these days. If there could be a station that played absolutely nothing but 80s new wave, I'd be all over it. ut alas, those days are long gone, which is why I relish my CD collection.

You are correct, Radio from Hell has been around for a long time and some of it may be recycled...but they are also very good at staying current and not doing the stupid skits and staying away from the regular crap DJ crap. Very entertaining show. I also appreciate the fact that they don't give themselves nicknames like 'Danger', 'Crazy' etc...

Agreed. They do stick to current times. And nicknames for DJs are just plain dumb. What they're doing obviously works, as they're still on the air together.
Most morning radio personalities are morons. I suppose their inane drivel is useful to wake folks up, but it just puts me in a bad mood for the day, so I try to avoid it.

Really? I have Serius radio with my dish tv, but I never listen to it. I work from my home, so I suppose I ought to, eh?
Thanks for that info. I'm all over it.
