Default Without jumping to the conclusion, why do we consider ourselves Restorationists?

I understand our arguments, but there seems to be little to no evidence that most of what the LDS church has was ever preached in its totality.

As Solon has noted, we seem to be similiar to gnostic claims of secret knowledge to salvation. On one hand, we claim the works argument of James and the grace elements of Romans, or Paul, coupled with the secret knowledge of the gnostics.

Aren't we more Revelationist, or Teleoistic Christians as opposed to Restorationist? Hasn't more been developed than was ever developed at the time of primitive Christianity?
