Same as last week.

I took my son to WALL-E over the weekend. I'd like to go on the record as stating I can't wait until we receive all our calories in beverage form.

Coach M, I can attest that a lot of exercise won't necessarily make you lose weight.

You gotta work on the intake side. You are burning more calories, but you are also eating more due to hunger. You have to eat less.

Also lay off the booze. I notice a 1-2 pound bump when I'm binge drinking.

You're right, of course. I am eating healthy but I am eating more, especially on long effort days.

I always gain a bit of weight right after a big endurance event.

I think it is partly from eating a ton before and after the event, increasing fluids afterward and possibly a slight decline in kidney function causing me to retain fluids. 4 or 5 days later I'm back to where I was and possibly a little under.

190 lbs after my ride yesterday. I should drop into the 180's this week.
