I'm in a pretty good position myself. I dropped FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS last Saturday at Lowe's buying pavers (red perfect edge), mulch, and other landscaping accessories. Cold Hard Cash.

Yeah, I didn't want to brag but it's good for you guys to know your place.

I will not be participating in the poll. I know someone has the ability to see what I put down as income. I can't be sure that the myth I have built up about how rich I am wouldn't be exposed for the world to see.

I thought about lying, but I prefer whores and harlots to liars so I couldn't bring myself to do so.

No kidding. I bought a Coke yesterday with my debit card. I think the total was like 1.48 or something like that.

The only time you should want cash in a transaction anymore is if you're in the middle of some sort of tax dodge.

Wrong on so many levels, even moreso now that I've taken a serious blow on the real estate front. When I'm not out chasing ambulances, I spend my days dreaming of a lifestyle that would allow me to train for hours on end, participate in far-flung athletic events, and translate correspondence between ancient philosophers and '50s recording artists from the original Greek, Latin and Coptic.

I have a theory that Arch is a trust fund kid and maintains a law office for appearances. Arch, you don't have to respond.

If I had a trust fund, would I bother having a law office?

No I'd be triathloning full time, and doing what the rich and famous do. I'm a wage slave like everybody else. However, if my family members were less of spendthrifts retirement might be more a reality than a chimera.

You're correct, you're not eccentric.

BTW, if DDD is buying may I tag along? Any time I can save a buck, my wife says I should as we seem to be short a few bucks.
