Why do folks not understand that wanting socialism to fail is a good thing?

This just gets more amusing all the time.

I love this quote from Rush:

"I'm frankly getting tired of talking about Newt. I mean, it's a pointless exercise," Limbaugh said of Gingrich's dismissal of him on "Meet the Press." "I'm surprised by nothing when I'm dealing with people in the media who think they're in politics. ... They are fly-by-night operators, and most of them stand for nothing until they see a poll about what the American people want, and then they go out and try to say one way or another what the American people want while trying to falsely hold onto an ideology at the same time — and you can't count on them. You can't depend on them. They will sell you out; they will throw you overboard to save themselves, faster than anything. And they'll use you on their way up as often as they can at the same time."

Does Rush know that HE is a person in the media who thinks he is in politics?

Meanwhile, Steele is still reeling from his Limbaugh smack down, and now is being hilariously lambasted on SNL. Michelle Malkin is calling for Steele to resign, and Steele goes media silent.

Limbaugh has clearly established himself as the de facto head of the GOP. Some wanna-be leaders are falling in line with his rhetoric, trying to be the one he blesses with the leadership mantle next. Others find the fastest way to leadership is to challenge the chief. So far, the challengers are being crushed. Will Newt succeed where others have failed? Stay tuned!

It's obvious you haven't listened to him much. You just don't get it.

Rush Limbaugh took a lot of heat for saying he wants President Obama to fail -- but a lot of Democrats felt the same way about former President George W. Bush during his second term.

An August 2006 poll conducted by FOX News/Opinion Dynamics showed 51 percent of Democrats did not want Bush to succeed. Thirty-four percent of independents also did not want Bush to succeed.
