Yes, that is a good point, and I wrote my thoughts poorly. It's probably easier for me to say it, knowing it's not bloody likely to happen any time soon (knock on wood). What I meant to express was that, despite the valid issues that everyone is bringing up, from a visceral sense I would have a great desire to be there.

I interpret this not as a formula for how to be prepared to meet God, but that as we are full of charity and virtue, we experience the presence (Spirit) of God with us, bringing us confidence and truth/doctrine.

If you want to know how one might feel confident in presence of Lord I would look to Luke 7:36-50. One was worthy by Tex/legalist definition, one was worthy by God's definition.
