Is croquet elitist? I played that once when our family was invited over to a rich family's home.

The nice thing about living where I do is that is possible. We don't go to the matches as much as we'd like, but a couple times a summer we pack up the pate and champagne and head over for a few chuckkars.

Lest you get the wrong idea, I don't actually play Polo but am merely a spectator. We're blessed to have some of the best European and South American players who spend their summers up here playing the sport of the ancient Persian kings.

Do you also have a 12m boat docked in Newport?

No, no. I'm not a water person. And in case you think I'm kidding (and I'm not)
http://www.thebighornpoloclub.com/ http://www.flyinghpolo.com/ We're lousy with polo up here.

Hate to distract from the lively discussion, but today's weigh-in:
208.0 (24.2% BF) Total loss 1.8 lbs. Didn't really change too much this week. This is about how much I wanted to lose each week, so that's good. I noticed how much I eat just because food is there. Also, I've noticed how big of portions I eat. If I eat about half of what I normally would, wait about 15 mins, then I'm not really hungry for more. So, cutting the snacking down and decreasing portion sizes was my basic diet for the week. |

That's a little less than half the national average for a round.
I've also played 72 holes in six hours, but I used a cart to do that. The last 18 was more slog than joy. I was going to get it in those final few holes regardless of how poorly I shot just to be able to say I did it. I'd be happy to answer any other questions you have about golf. It's a great game.

I've played in tournaments where it's taken more then 6 hours to play 18. I hate slow play. What was your best 18 score during those 72?

I shot an 89 the second round which is very good for me. I believe I shot a 115 the final round. I probably averaged in the mid 90's.
