Personally I think praying to Jesus makes more sense than praying to the Father.

I have a conception of Jesus. I have less of a conception of the Father.

So in some respects, Jesus is the only Father I have. But it is forbidden that I pray to Him.

Calling on the Father is like calling on the Force. Calling on Jesus is like calling on an actual person.

Just my opinion.

Fear not. AA said that the First Presidency issued as statement in 2000 saying they're the same thing.

Here is the bizarre thing. In Old Testament times, they prayed to Jesus.

Now in modern times, we don't pray to Jesus.

This is a little bizarre when you think about it.

I never argued that Jesus was the Father. That is twisting words, and you know it.

Didn't Jesus say, "If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him"? (John 14:7)

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines.

Indeed. Thus, the implied question of my post: why "less of a conception of the Father"?
