I think that's Seattle's point - that Kraut is badly underestimating the people's animosity toward GW and, subsequently, the GOP's desperate need to represent change. Drudge is reporting that McCain got near 39 million viewers, 500,000 more than Obama, on fewer stations.

I'm frankly stunned. I did not expect this, but I'm feeling optimistic.
