In terms of Fowler's theory (see my link in the Nephi's psalm thread) this exchange between taq, Indy, and Tex is a classic stage three versus stage four battle.

Well, the premise is that it was a miracle. This isn't supposedly a history report. Yea, if you don't believe the Book of Mormon came by the hand of God then the story is ridiculous.

That is why I find it amuzing when mormons get all excited when they think they found something in Mexico they think pertains to the BOM and when anti's think they have found something the proves the opposite.

If a persons sole belief is based on physical things, it can be taken down pretty easy.

With apologies to Seinfeld:

Archaea: "You're just renting the mullah label."
Tex: "How am I a mullah?"
Archaea: "You're just a mullah."
Tex: "What is a mullah?"
Archaea: "Tex, all these hard-core Mormons -- they are all mullahs!"
Tex: "You don't even know what a mullah is."
Archaea: "Do you?"
Tex: "No, I don't."
Archaea: "But they do, and they're the ones who are mullahs!"

Nah, there's no way a solution could have been provided for animal feeding and waste by-products. That's one bridge too far.
Seems like those would have been miracles worthy of mention. Jesus mentioned the loaves and fishes. Keeping a herd alive in a tiny submarine for a year would have taken mighty miracles. No notice.

I seem to recall learning that the sandstone used to build the pyramids was casted. That takes all of the mystery out of how the pyramids were created if it's true. I might even try to find a source for that.
