I really don't like her stuff at all. I'm having a guttural reaction.
Tell us how you really feel Adam.

This stuff is truly hilarious. But, as a practical matter, think about it, it might be the closest some of these people will ever get to Him, or His look-alike, as it were.

Not only does it pair the "take-a-picture-with-Jesus" concept with arguably the cheesiest inspirational poem ever, but the color scheme in the background looks like it's straight from a velvet Elvis gallery in Tijuana. It's absolutely perfect.
On top of that, the woman being carried walked almost the whole way and Jesus only carried her a few feet. It's bound to drive the grace folks nuts.

I want her to produce an "I never said it would be easy. I only said it would be worth it" painting. Money is no object.

Come on, IPU. That is a low blow.

All's fair, ain't it?

Remember, we Utes have guys like Bill@kublakahn. She's just a bad artist with hilarious work.

The creepy thing is that there are yutz'es who by this crap. At least buy the expensive photoshop package before going online with it.

Upon further reflection (more, certainly, than the “art” deserves), I’ve gained a greater understanding of, and appreciation for, the Sharia or whatever Islamic authority imposes the death penalty for any rendering of the prophet Muhammed.

But I still count this one as big win by Christianity over fundamentalist Islam. I regard my esteemed brother Adam’s visceral rant as high entertainment, not a fatwa. The Danish cartoonist whose caricature of the prophet netted him the death penalty, as yet unenforced, seems less offensive than the artist whose work is being scrutinized here. But here the penalty is derisive laughter, not a car bomb.

I am serious. I am contemplating buying one of these and having it right there in the foyer of the house. And when people come by, I stop and look at it with my visitors and say 'Man, its hard not to get choked up every time I see this picture. Its beautiful isn't it.' And then just wait for their reactions. Truly classic.
