Seattle, this is really simple. College presidents don't want the liability if an underage college kids drinks himself to death or if an underage kid gets drunk then runs over a group of sorority pledges and kills all of them.
Lowering the drinking age would remove liability from the universities and the presidents. There is no other possibility. The debate is over.

If it gets lowered to 18 it's going to be that much easier for high school kids to get alcohol.

He did this on his own."? But if the drinking age remains a 21 and the same thing happens, the University President couldn't point to a legal aged drinker on his campus. Or am I missing something?
