I've got Simple Minds "New Gold Dream ('81, '82, '83, '84) playing right now as I post this. One of the best albums from the entire decade of the 80s.

For you, Bat Girl - Simple Minds, live, at one of the most incredible places on the planet - Taormina, Sicily on the stage set up at the Greek Theater on top of the mountain above the Ionian/Mediterranean Sea

at work i tune into beethoven radio (www.beethoven.com). i can't take cds into my office, it's inside a vault.
a good mix across the centuries, but a little lite on the more modern stuff. they do a 5 o'clock rock, which is kind of interesting. pink floyd, beatles, led zeplin, metallica, etc done by an orchestra. i wonder what the fellers playing it are thinking.

megadeth, peter frampton, and cream. if you can find the connection there, you're a better man (or woman) than I.

Not familiar with Megadeth, but Frampton and Clapton from Cream have some great guitar solos in their songs.

I keep trying to move on past "In the Jungle Groove" by James Brown. It is just too incredible, and I keep getting stuck on it.

I have been digging into my Coheed and Cambria albums and have started listening to Claudio's other band he fronts, The Prize Fighter Inferno. If you like Rush I suggest you check them out.
