Babs, at my son's school, there are probably less than 3 white kids.

For many on this board, there isn't a single African-American in their school.

They have no concept at what poverty is, or what the urban poor face. For them, poor is something akin to Napoleon Dynamite.

how many black kids at your kid's school (in terms of percentage)?

If you didn't know that poverty afflicts blacks to a much higher degree you are a fool.

you don't work with the poor because you want to. I think you've made that pretty clear already, with your complaints of reimbursement.

That is a very different thing than what Obama did.

I don't understand how the other half live. Somehow this conclusion is drawn from my frustration that many of the poor are neglecting certain basics for cigarettes. I would call that presumptuous, yeah.

If you don't realize that rural Utah has its share of poor people, you're a fool.

Before I moved, over half of our school was AA. Not that that means a damn thing in this discussion.
