Anyone in here ever been in a newsroom? behind the scenes is maybe a better way to put it.

You leave with the stark impression that it's all about reporting the news in an entertaining way.

It's all about ratings, sensationalism and $$$.

Don't fool yourself otherwise.

yesterday someone was saying that NBC didn't air the entire video, and they feel like they used a lot of discretion in editing. I personally have boycotted the viewing, but from what I gather the part they did show was pretty disturbing, can't imagine what was on the edited portions.

Yeah, I think they showed enough to give viewers the gist and that was about it...but yeah, the part they showed was bad enough.

This article seems to support SteelBlue's point. Surprisingly, considering where it came from, it also doesn't buy the liberal canard that gun control would be a cure-all.
