I'm pretty sure those CNN polls involve some guy walking around the newsroom in Atlanta and asking the staffers what they thought.

I did not hear it all but neither was great, yet McCain was better toward the end.

No on both charges for me. I picked up the debate at end of the Pakistan/Afghanistan discussion and saw all of the Russia discussion. I missed most of the former so I can't really comment but from Russia to the end of the debate I can't imagine anyone thinking Obama came out ahead.
