I don't think ANY of these statements are demonstrably false. But I also don't see anywhere in these statements a contention that every word out of the prophet's mouth is gospel, although I imagine that was the intended message of the speaker who cited this.

ERC you are pretty new here. Let me give you some advice: Tex isn't interested in having an adult conversation. Ever.

Perhaps you can help me out here. What do you think you are saying by posting that link?

Maybe I need to help you out.

Let's break this down. Is the prophet infallible? If he is, he can't err on any issue. Ergo, if he errs on one issue, he is not infallible. If he isn't infallible, he can err on any issue (like the rest of us).

If the prophet can err on any issue, it would also include the possibility that he can err when he says he cannot lead us astray. Which part of that is logically incorrect?

First, which thread would you like to discuss this in? I'm not going to go back-and-forth.

I'm not blaming you, by the way, just asking. It's not your fault Mike is so narcissistic as to need to start his own thread on every topic.

Is the LDS chruch, Christs church upon the earth today?

Would Christ allow ANY person to lead his chruch into areas he does not wish it to be led?

are you familiar with the concept of the apostasy? If you believe in the apostasy then it has already happened at least once.
