My son got the guitar and drums and mic for christmas (we gave him the game the day it came out). The guitar ceased to function correctly on day two. Strum bar problems.

Rock band is brilliant. I love playing the drums or being the lead singer and guitar hero doesn't allow either. That said, I play both.

My BIL and his family came over last night, they got here at 8, we started playing RockBand, we went to bed at 5am. We were all back up at 9 and now its 11 and we havent stoppped. We have 150,000 fans, a plane, a record deal and some sweet tats. The name of our band is The Classless Whittinghams.

Rock Band rocks. We love it.

I thought the microphone wouldn't be used much, but it is fun too.

I like to hide outside my kid's room and listen to him sing. Believe me, he's not the singing type but the game has him belting them out. Pretty funny. He's addicted to the drums.

The drums are the one thing that actually translates reasonably well to the real thing. My daughter is terrific with the drums and is talking about doing percussion in the Jr. High band next year.

Yes, the mike is a blast. I really didn't expect my kids to take to it, but they love it. It sounds a lot like singing in the shower most of the time. But they don't care.

And Yours Truly got 100% singing on Enter Sandman by Metallica.
