I'd fire Bronco.
Just to watch the explosion.

It is already ruined. It isn't too controversial over here and I can't get in on the action over on CB due to my self imposed exile on CB.

I almost gave in and signed the rules agreement so I could get in there and help K-Dog in his fight today. Arguing BYU morals and the effect on football is much more fun for me than these religious discussions.

There are infinitely more relevant reasons why I will never be called.

2) When your secretary interrupts your prayer with two messages from members of the 12 (one regarding a mission president who is leading his missionaries into apostasy, the other to ask for girls camp safety to be added to the next meeting agenda due to the recent bear attacks), 5 messages from members of the 70 (one reporting financial irregularities in the PEF in Peru, one reporting the death of the Manti temple matron, one asking for a meeting for an undisclosed reason, one reporting the impact of the Romney campaign on missionary work in the South, and one regarding the reinstatement of full fellowship for Paul Dunn), a message from the Primary General Presidency regarding changing the tune of the brainwashy "Follow the Prophet" children's hymn, a reminder of the church audit committee meeting you have today and the birthday party for the 2nd Counselor in the RS Presidency that evening plus your tickets for 5am tomorrow morning to that temple dedication in South America (have you written that prayer yet?--just going to recycle the St. Paul Temple prayer again?--good idea.) etc etc etc etc. Good luck with your seeking revelation on your day on the job.
I love these little Adam-insights into the "day in the life of the prophet." I had no idea the prophet ran out of time each day to seek revelation.

Maybe Hinckley should do a stint on MTV Cribs.

Apparently, Pres. Hinckley's connection is a 56k dial-up in a T3 world.

I think the prophet is so in tune, he doesn't need that much time to tweak the antennas to get a good reception.

Unlike you, I couldn't presume to say what the prophet does during an average day. But I doubt that a man who constantly preaches the virtue of modern revelation and personal inspiration, and who is responsible (and accountable) for the course of the modern church of God, would spend no time engaged in seeking it himself.
