My last post was October 2nd. But I must confess that I have lurked a bit lately. The meltdown over McCain's success has been something to behold.

Nixon/Ford have been absolved of their role in causing 18% mortgage interest (Arthur Burns, wage and price controls). That was all Carter.
Waters, you should go there and listen to the weeping and wailing and gnasing of teeth, the howling of the damned, just for two minutes.

I was trying to join the party. Then you come along and start trying to be reasonable. They chased you out of there pretty quickly.

It's fun to post over there on days like this. A lot of action and some very strong opinions, not all of them reasonable. I really wasn't trolling, but it felt like it.

SU, you have nothing to worry about. They will come around and be your political bedfellows.

The hypocricy about West Virginia is something. Romney would not have done the same thing in McCain's shoes? Right. Romney's shown there's nothing he wouldn't do to win, short of homicide. He's even subtly disavowed his faith as best he can without exposing himself as a complete Machiavelli.

There is some hate ... and then there are those of us who are waving the red cape in front of the angry bulls. Or is that hate too?
