The size thing kills me and my wife. We took the kids to a local "Japanese" restaurant called Osaka (but the kanji read Osaka-shi) and ordered oyakodon (spelled "oyakidon" on the menu) and they brought out individual bowls big enough to feed four people each. Memphis is not a big gathering place for Japanese people.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!! Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |

Honolulu has its faults, but it is fabulous for Asian cuisine. I love all of the little curry, ramen, vietnamese, korean, thai, etc. shops on every corner.
