Me too, I was hoping he could incorporate "You are not a pleasure unit" into his speech. But sadly it'll never be.

As are other conservatives - see "flip-flopper" in dictionary.

Coburn is the same who proposed the death penalty for MDs who perform abortions. That's real mainstream.

Termed political race he was in as a "battle of good vs evil", with him being the good part of that equation, naturally.

Here's a view from a fellow Oklahoman: "I’m a Republican and it is hard to understand why Tom Coburn takes pride in dividing Oklahoma and ridiculing people. If you disagree with him, you are evil. There’s no discussion, no room for understanding."

Coburn's the type of conservative Dem campaign strategists fantasize about. If he's the standard bearer for conservatives these days, they're in big trouble.

I love how you liberal folks love to call Romney a flip flopper - which he certainly did do - yet ignore that your man Obama is as well. His 360 about getting troops out of Iraq happened in a matter of hours, which has to be a world record.

But I'd rather see a flip flopper as VP than a guy who consorts with domestic terrorists any day of my life.

I don't have a problem with Mitt's having changed positions on issues. I'm quoting my conservative aunt as well as others who aren't so fond of Mitt.

Ma'ake, if I may interrupt you for a sec, I think you presumed that I'm actually a fan of Coburn. Coburn's a wacko as far as I'm concerned, but I frequently see him praised on conservative boards for being one of the few that still takes the hard-line on fiscal restraint. The fact that he is from my state is irrelevant here.

I just thought it was pretty telling about the state of the party that the three headliners are Lieberman, Giuliani, and Schwarzenegger. Lieberman's not even Republican, Giuliani's a late-comer, and I don't know anything about Ahnold but I suspect he's moderate tending liberal.

It was kind of them to find room for a conservative.

That is all.

aren't both Coburn and Ron Paul OB/Gyns? They are crazy f****.

It takes a certain kind of man who wants to get all around the snatch all the time. Instead of being kind and thoughtful, he is hard and crazy. Go figure.

Coburn is a neocon, not a conservative.

I am about 1000% sure you're wrong on this one.
