Hockey is not the best sport to watch live, College football is... |

Most folks that say they don't like hockey have never given it a chance. Kinda like the kid that doesn't like broccoli, but has never even tasted it.

Those who hate baseball don't understand it.
Those who disagree with that statement don't understand what it means. Those who know what that statement means, know that I'm right. And to quote mpfunk (once a baseball hater): There are two kinds of baseball haters: those that don't understand it and those who lack the ability to understand it.

a former baseball watcher turned off by the strikes.
I loved the KC Royals, when George Brett guarded third base and even when Bo was there. After the endless strikes, I've given up on it. Do I understand it to the extent Paddy does? No. Do I care to? No. I'd prefer to become proficient at chess as opposed to learning baseball. I was a fan of Bobby Fisher against Spassky.

You caught me, live. It was a batter with a ball coming in, but it didn't transfer well once posted. Or a phallus.

Baseball is a great sport and what is the difference between an intentional walk and the Hack a Shaq strategy? Either way you take away your best players strengths. it is the ultimate Team game, every player has a job and it can not be dominated by one player like in basketball.
Also it is Americas past time. There is nothing better than a live baseball game.
