What expanded powers?

Do you think "working with the Senate and making sure that we are supportive of the president's policies" and "really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes" count as "expanded" powers?

Last I checked, every VP in the history of the country has "really gotten in there" to work with senators for policy changes.

"expanded powers" was Palin's language. So you're asking the same question I am. I'd like to know what she means. I don't care if she hangs out in the senate, but sitting down to form policy is not in her job description. Of course Cheney did a lot more than that, but that's another discussion.

You're right, whether a media member is liberal or conservative and bashes who they're going after is completely beside the point.

Contrary to what others think the Matthews, Hannitys and Rushs of the world do not have agendas.
