I took my almost 3 year old to it. He had tears in his eyes for a time. Which became wailing. Maybe it was too intense for him. Maybe he was tired.
Point is I didn't get to stay and watch the whole thing. He was much happier when we left the theatre. |

We saw it last Saturday and loved it. The animation was superb.

Saw it on the 4th of July and thought it was okay. I believe Pixar was fighting an uphill battle vs. the audience from the very beginning... making the protagonist a rat? Difficult work, guys.
Good message, made me laugh and all, but I didn't really care about the characters all that much. Not sure if I'll bother seeing it again. |

Saw it and thought it was okay. Not my favorite Pixar movie. I liked Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Monster's Inc. much better. I think I even liked Cars better. But it was funny.
I had an opportunity to apprentice with Pixar after high school. But went to BYU instead. I wonder what would have come of that had I chosen that route.

But then I wouldn't have had my experiences with the Honor Code to share here. Animators don't make as much as you'd think.

The rat movement was too realistic and kept freaking me out. Gave me the creeps.
In terms of story, not Disney's best work, but still pretty watchable overall. |

Come on, people. The highly realistic rat swarming scenes were the best part of the flick!
