I've never read a science fiction novel - at least not that I know of.
I can see that I need to expand my reading from almost exclusively biographies and historical texts. Does "SpongeBob: Lost in Time: A Medieval Adventure" count?

GOts to be Dune. I read them all, including a couple by his money-grubbing kid (which shows you what I thought about his books) and none are as good as the first one.
Some poeple put ealry VOnnegut into the sci-fi category, and Cat's cradle and Slaughterhouse 5 are very good. I do not think they are actually sci-fi, however. Heinlein and Bradbury also put out some pretty good stuff. If you had to pick one, however, make it Dune.

Is this the book on which the movie with Sting was based?

I'm going to have to spend less time online to read the books I ought to read. Dang. I like wasting my time being unproductive.

I've read very few Sci Fi books. I read Handmaid's Tale when I was a teenager and I remember liking it, though I remember very little about it now.
What about Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? And sorry Babs, I suffered through Canticle for Leibowitz in college. If only it was as cool as Annie (Leibowitz that is). |
