I'm still waiting for Tex to enlighten us on what should be done differently, or better yet what he would do differently. For years and years, all Tex has done is pointed at faults, but never offered a solution.

It's all W's fault.

We should have avoided baling out the banks. Once we did that we should have encouraged the banks to modify principal instead of foreclosing, we should not engage in the massive spending which we did.

I'm guessing that you didnt realize the man being questioned was the head of the CBO which is a Congressional agency and not an executive branch agency and that he doesn't speak or work for the President. Maybe you thought he was with OMB? Easy error for those more interested in political points than accuracy.

In other news, the president's own Council of Economic Advisors reported on Friday that the "stimulus" cost taxpayers $278K per each job created or "saved."
