I hate Kobe Bryant as much as the next person
I really cannot stand Kobe Bryant. If I saw him walking down the street I would take great enjoyment in kicking him in the groin. Despite this hatred I have found the reaction of cougarboard to his recent play to be incredibly funny. The guy drops 81 points, in a victory, while shooting 60% and it is somehow a bad thing? If I have a player shooting 60 percent and over 50 percent from three point range I tell him do whatever the hell you want.
I hate the guy, but right now he is the best player in the NBA. AI is a close second. |

He is a jackass though.
Him and TO in the same room would create a black hole. His teammates weren't even exited for him. He needs to learn some humility...

Kobe is a butt-munching piece of poo. But he's a great player.
I could go on for a looooooooong time about many things about him, and other players for that manner, that I've witnessed out of the eyes of cameras and reporters. Based on what I've seen and know he's a piece of human filth. |

Did you see the Heisman Trophy ceremony?
They were as excited for Kobe as Vince Young was that Reggie Bush won the Heisman. "Congratualation" (jackass) That is what went through their minds...

I was a torn over this one a little. Very little.
I really dislike Kobe. I think that's a jerk and a tool and a bad guy. Incredibly selfish and I'm not just talking about the basketball floor. But those 81 points were just staggering. I still have a hard time wrapping my brain around it. I mean how the heck could ANYONE do that? It doesn't seem possible. So I acknowledge the greatness of the feat that he has accomplished but at the same time I realize that it is all done for the greater glory of Kobe.
