Vegas has two rides, of varying quality, one April 21st and one May 5th, that cyclists will enjoy.

Arch...I'm thinking of doing the "Tour de Fire" on May 5th.
Have you done this ride? I think you have said that the 98 is ok,...but the 138 is a grind. I'm thinking of doing the Tour de Fire century. How many people ride in this event? Sounds like not that many.

I'm riding the 98, I've already done the 134 and don't need that quite yet.
The longer version takes one through the Valley of Fire. My kids and spouse are manning some of the aid stations. You're either going up or down, no in between. We should have a good turnout but not like the big centuries. Mostly locals ride it. It is a beautiful ride. I hope if we ride hard to make in five hours but then again if we putz that's okay.
