Default Questions about my avatar

1. To what literary work does it refer? (easy)

2. Who is the artist that created this? (not as easy)

Bonus:
3. Who currently has the original version of this? (difficult)

1. Tarzan

2. My guess is Carl Lundgren

or Michael Whelan, who has exibited at BYU:

Or even Rodney Matthews who no longer paints sci-fi, fantasy because he's born again:

Correct answer to #1

1. "Tarzan of the Apes" (there are 24 Tarzan books)

2. Neal Adams. Comic book artist.

3. Nobody knows where the orignal is. It was stolen.

This is actually the book cover of the Ballentine mass paperback edition from the 1970's. This is the first novel I read. At the age of 6.
