Yeah, I have a season pass on TIVO.
My favorite this season was the olympics, and Steve Carrell with tears on the podium. |

I haven't had a chance to watch a lot of TV lately, but I saw that episode. Very, very funny.

Definitely a funny show and the good thing is, I think, it's getting better. We watched the original British version about a year or so ago and that was awesome. The boss in that, Ricky Gervais, is great. The first few episodes in the American version really took the UK storylines and adapted them so we were comparing the two and the original won out. But now they're getting to their own stuff and it's taking life.
And I still recommend the UK version. THere's one where the company brings in a guy to bring the group together and Ricky ends up singing and playing his guitar. The assistant (to the) regional manager in the other is pretty hilarious. |

The actor that I'm appreciating more and more is Rainn Wilson(Dwight Schrute). He is genius!! He was particularly good in the latest 'fight' episode. |

I have to agree with Parrot Head...if you have not yet seen the British version, you are truly missing out. It is truly genius. As pathetic as it sounds, I have probably seen each episode of the British version 5 times. You can buy the entire series (all 12 episodes plus the special) for about $35 on Amazon. Well worth it.
With that said, I have been pleasantly surprised by the American version. I was expecting disaster and I was wrong. It is a funny half hour. I would have it in my top 5 tv comedies on right now (behind Arrested Development, Earl and Scrubs) |

This show seems to be a big favorite amont Mormons and I just don't get it. I think it's the dumbest show on TV. Ther are tons of other Sitcoms which are way funnier IMO. I just think trying to do a 30 minute SNL skit every week is too much.
Sitcoms I like (in no particular order) My Name Is Earl Two and a Half Men Still Standing Out of Practice How I Met Your Mother (best new sitcom of the year IMO) King of Queens (though it's getting dated and is about to jump the shark) |
