BYU vs. Washington
Can't say I'm really surprised. We're used to underwhelming performances and beatdowns.
I was really impressed with the UW QB. If you give him time, he'll make an accurate throw in a tight window. Unfortunately, we didn't have the ability to respond to that. We couldn't disguise coverages, we couldn't pressure the QB. Special teams finally let us down. We're used to that. Wilson may be exciting, he may be good. But he's not a "phenom". Yet. Hard for him to be successful when the OL isn't very good. At least not good compared to the Washington DL. If we get into a game where the BYU OL is dominating, of course Wilson is going to look a ton better. |

Some on CB, including Oxcoug, so that OL is as good as 1990. It has several NFL prospects, they say.
Even if that were true, it's not giving Wilson the time it gave Detmer and John Walsh.
