Great talk. Two of my younger siblings were there. He gave the same talk at Berkeley as well.
And his new book is the greatest book Deseret has ever published.

Here's a podcast where Terryl Givens and his wife Fiona (who is a bit of a firecracker and a convert) talk about how they came up with the book "The God who weeps", how it ended up with Deseret Book, what the reaction has been, and what they learned in the process.
https://www.dialoguejournal.com/2013...terryl-givens/ And here's a link to my notes from a prior Givens' fireside. http://cougarguard.com/forum/showthr...ghlight=givens |

I got browbeat into reading the Crucible of Doubt (which apparently grew out of the materials discussed in this thread), and then couldn't help myself:
http://www.amazon.com/Response-Terry...=john+neeleman Check it out! Let me know if you want a free copy; or, it's only 99 cents.
