The University of Utah and RMs
Apparently the U is concerned about how many former students who leave to serve missions have been deciding to switch to other schools when they come home. LDS students at the U who leave to serve missions are treating it like a commuter school.

Sounds like most of them aren't in any school.
I wonder how it's going at BYU-Provo. Are the kids coming back from their missions, who have never been to college, going directly to college or are they taking that first semester off? They could be lacking funds, lacking motivation, wanting a break, etc. I personally liked having gone to college for 1 year first. I had a better idea of what I was going to be doing when I got home. I was going to go back to college. College was not an unknown to me. For these twenty year olds and 21 year olds coming back, it's a complete unknown. |
