BYU vs. Stanford
End of the game was pretty disappointing, esp. when the bonehead stuff is done by your seniors, Haws and Winder. Almost pissed that game away. Haws shooting a 3 point brick with plenty of time left to burn. And then Winder blowing two layups. Not to mention the complete inability to deal with the press.
Bizarrely, BYU switches Worthington onto Stanford's best guard, man-to-man. It's just plain luck that he missed the shot, a three pointer. As limited as Nate Austin is, this team is hurting big time without him. |

No bigs and dumb guards.
Bad combination. Btw, Haddow suggests that maybe Collinsworth leaves early for the pros. I think that's ridiculous. I don't think there is any way that Collinsworth gets drafted in the NBA. He doesn't have a position he can play. He can't play PG in the NBA, he would get torn up. Can you imagine him going against [insert PG name]? How many 2s and 3s in the NBA can't shoot? He is staying for his senior season. Book it. |
