We might need to update this software
not from a functionality standpoint, but at a certain point you become so "legacy" that you can no longer function. The webhosts no longer support your database software, and you can't upgrade anymore to something new.
The sad part is that vbulletin is no longer run by the same people that started the company and built the software. So I'm not sure that continuing with vbulletin is a great idea. Or we could just not worry about it and pull the plug when the thing doesn't work anymore. |

CG down earlier today because the host updated the PHP and we were not compatible. I had to go in and change the PHP setting back to the legacy setting. It just means that the time is coming soon when this current setup will no longer work at all.

I will gladly donate to help with an update.
Let me know what it will take. This is my new home. The prodigal son returns. |
