Anyway tried the p90x?
Just curious if any of you fitness stars have used the p90x system. It is basically a high intensity 90 day workout. If you have done it, did it work well? Any other thoughts on it?

I know a guy doing it right now and he swears by it. He said it kicks his ass and he's lost 13lbs in 30 days on it. Mind you this guy is in good shape to begin with. His daughter ordered it and he's been doing it to support her.

My parents neighbor also swears by it. My dad is going to give it a shot and see how it works. If it is as good as advertised, I may have to give it a shot as well.

I watched the entire infomercial a few weeks ago. It will definitely work because it's an intense cardio workout combined with intense lifting. If one eats right AND does those workouts it's a no-brainer. It's the eating right that will de-rail most who try it. Everybody wants the magic workout that gives them a 6 pack and lets them eat whatever they want to eat. That workout is called anabolic steroids. Otherwise, you gotta eat right.

I met a guy this weekend who is hardcore into p90x. He looked thin and mean compared to the last time I had seen him. He is very much into the diet part as well.
Also play ball w/ someone who does it off-and-on. Not hardcore. But I can tell when he has been doing it, because he is much stronger. And my uncle swears by it as well. I've put on some muscle, but I need to get lean and ripped. I might give this a shot. |

I have actually done P90X, I dont think it is for lazy people. I love all of them. P90X is awesome and extreme and gets monster results, but each DVD is an hour long and didn't really fit into my schedule. P90 is only 30-40 minutes, not as extreme, but still a great workout. Don't rag on it unless you have tried it.
