I've read most of his books. Congo and Sphere were my fav's. Next was totally lame.

I've only read one of his books. "Sphere".
It was boring. I'm at the bookstore frequently and NEXT has been on sale for a long time,,,and I've almost bought it several times cause the premise is interesting, but I've heard that it's not one of his better novels.

A guy I work with was roommates with Bill Clinton while at Oxford. He told me Bill was a horny bastard back then always talking about women.

My favorite is Eaters of the Dead. A mix between the writings of the Muslim traveler Ibn Fadlan (a real person) and the story of Beowulf (a real bad-ass).
