I think I have a stress fracture or really bad lower shin splints and will enjoy not running for at least 6 weeks after saturday.
I'm developing some pain on the right shin, medially that feels pretty crappy when I'm walking around but goes away after I've been running awhile. I know that the worst thing I can do is to keep running on it, but I don't see much choice if I'm going to do this marathon in 5 weeks. My plan is to tough it out and then take 6 weeks off to let it heal.
