Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs
Just finished reading Chuck Klosterman's book Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs and it simply a great book on pop culture analysis. It is the book for 25-35 age range that is obsessed with pop culture. Be it a chapter to devoted to Zach Morris and Saved by the Bell, the chapter on a Guns n' Roses cover band, or my personal favorite the account of his entering the world of the Sims. While some of the stuff he writes gets a little tired and is just bad, overall it is the best pop culture book out there.
I would recommend it to all, but that is not a good idea as it really only appeals to those in my age group with a pop culture obsession. The best way to describe the book, is if Bill Simmons was actually a good writer and funny this would be his book. |

That's a great book
Klosterman is quite a whit. I skip the Pam and Tommy chapter, though.
