Show me one statement where Republicans state, "The SuperRich are overburdened." You will see references to middle class, the need for capital investment and for open markets, but no where will you see the kind of absurd argument you just made. The Dems play to a populist rhetoric because it sells votes, plain and simple. To the extent Reps can gain resonance within the general populace, they do so by appealing to the "middle class". Why? Almost everybody considers himself middle class, even well-paid professionals see themselves as "middle class". Republican leadership does cut deals for large conglomerations since some of their leadership comes from there and because they receive funding. The Dems do as well, but are able to dupe the public into believing that they do not. I challenge you to show me where Republicans ever bemoan burdens upon the SuperRich.

IOW, you overstated your case. You know I could find scare messages.

Archaea was talking about politicians, not loud mouthed radio hosts.

I'm not sure there is a worse reason. . .

to advocate voting for someone than to say they are the opposite of someone else. I do find it interesting that people describe George W. Bush as the biggest idiot ever to hold the office, yet still esteem him as a facist mastermind. No reasonable person thinks George Bush is some type of facist dictator. No reasonable person believes the US would ever allow such a person to remain in power. Once George Bush tries to undo term limits, I'll start to worry. |

What redeeming characteristic does Hillary possess for a Republican?
Does she have a fiscal track record that inspires you? Does she have foreign policy track record that inspires you? What could she do to help the economy? What impact would a socialized styled health care have upon those already with insurance? Although we don't need a president who is beholden to religious voters, what benefit is it to have one manifestly hostile to religion?
