I'll use a question mark on your face.

I enjoyed the camping aspect of Scouts..we went to Philmont, Emerald Bay (on Catalina Island), white water rafting, John Muir trail, Mt Whitney, Yosemite, and whole bunch of cool places. My troop was esp militant...full uniforms were required (shorts were ok), we had uniform inspections to make sure our patches were sewn on correctly, we had to march into our campsites, all that kind of crap. It was very annoying. I envied the LDS troops because they were always highly disorganized, very poor overall parent participation, the kids rarely wore their uniforms and when they did, maybe just the Scout shirt, they took off on Saturday night, and they basically seemed to just have a lot of fun.
