Still, I don't see how hairbands aren't making the list. Warrant's "Sometimes She Cries"? Firehouse's (REO-Speedwagon II's) "When I Look Into Your Eyes"? Europe's "Carrie"? Let those guys on the field and the game's over people.

Take these broken wings/ and learn to fly again... I just had flashbacks to great 80s songs: "Cherry Pie" and "She's Only 17." She's my cherry pie/ woman enough to make a grown man cry! Good stuff.

True story, the first conselor in my stake presidency attended a Tony Robbins seminar on Kauai a number of years ago and was partnered for the various team exercises with Dog the Bounty Hunter. He says he was very tame and mild mannered and very little like the TV show.

"She's Like the Wind" By Patrick Swayze.
Also there's a song....I can't remember the artist but it starts with.."Turn around,,,everytime I something something something...." I heard this song and saw this played at a redneck wedding as the bride was walking down the aisle...literally.....all while many of the guests were smoking cigarettes simultaneously....all while next door you could hear their neighbor using a power saw. One of the funniest experiences of my life. I remember looking at my now ex-wife and thinking...."Who ARE these friends of yours?" |

I think the song you are referring to is "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler. http://www.theromantic.com/lovesongs...oftheheart.htm Yes indeed, that is one truly awful song. One of those insidious songs that are tough to get out of your head. At a wedding? That is really pathetic.
