Why would a nurse know anything about statistics?
Ideally a non-statistician researcher should have an understanding of what the statistics mean and how they are used, even if they don't have a technical understanding. For example, I don't understand how a SD is calculated, but I understand that it gives me an idea of the variance or spread in the data. |
